How to Compress a PDF File Online for Free

How does the Target Size compression work?

If you set a target size (e.g., 2 MB), the server will test multiple parameters of image downsampling and font compression. It attempts to find the perfect quality sweet-spot that results in a file size under your target limit.

Are my files kept secure?

Yes. Your uploads are processed completely in-memory over SSL, and deleted immediately after compression. No persistent files remain on our server logs.
